Hi, I am Asaad!
I'm an engineering student at EJ KOSEN and a software engineer based in Cairo, Egypt, with a strong focus on core systems and artificial intelligence. I build high performance, resource efficient applications and custom developer tooling.
Some of my key projects include engineering Epyac AI, an optimized local language architecture designed for efficient client side inference, and developing Baklava Shell, a fast, Lua extensible shell written in Go with zero runtime dependencies. I also built a real-time air quality prediction system utilizing the NASA Harmony API and FastAPI for the NASA Space Apps Challenge. Alongside systems programming and open source projects, I spend a lot of time learning deep learning, experimenting, and researching modern AI architectures like JEPA models to push the boundaries of machine intelligence.
Core AI Developer
Epyac AI FamilyEngineered and quantized a highly efficient local Large Language Model optimized to run natively on low-spec student hardware for offline research environments.
Team Leader & Backend Developer
NASA Space Apps CairoLed a 5-member development unit to compile an air quality monitoring framework built natively on top of high-throughput FastAPI pipelines and Pandas data matrices.
Full-Stack Developer & 3D Artist
Independent PracticeSpent years designing high-fidelity web applications and optimization pipelines, bridging structural web codebases with advanced Blender shader workflows.
